Hi Justin! Where are you from?
I am originally from New York, but have lived in San Antonio for the past 20 years.
What is your title/role at dbtech? What are your responsibilities in that role?
I am the CEO of dbtech and am directly responsible for leading all strategic and business operations. I work closely with our entire team at dbtech to build our product roadmap, retain our customers and review sales and marketing initiatives.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
I love working with our team to put important and business critical software in front of our customers to help them solve their business challenges. Many of our customers are in Healthcare, and we know that the software is being used broadly for hospitals and health oriented businesses to improve patient outcomes and the process in general. We also have a niche in Hospitality and e-commerce and those customers use the product in creative and interesting ways.
Also, I love our team at dbtech! We have such a strong group of individuals who are specialized in their area of operation. It is such a tight-knit group who really are industry experts. We have built wonderful solutions that handle document management, electronic forms and a downtime product that can be mission critical during ransomware and network downtime events . Serving our customers and continuing to build those relationships is an amazing part of my job.
What would you say are some of your best skills?
Working with others to really understand the business from the ground up. I work to identify areas of improvement, amplify strengths and work to build company strategies that fit the customer need. It is important to understand what problems the customer is trying to solve first, and then orient our teams to further build out solutions to meet those challenges.
What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
When I am not working, I love spending time with my wife and daughters. You can find me on the soccer fields on Saturdays watching them play, and at practice during the week. We also love spending time at the beach when we can get away to do so.
