Hi Stacey! Where are you from?
Born and raised in the Garden State of New Jersey, but my family and I moved to Surprise, Arizona, in 2010. Nope, not trying to leave you in suspense…The city really is named Surprise, and is a suburb of Phoenix.
What is your job title at dbtech?
Manager of Implementation & Support Services, but I also play a role in Account Management and serve as our HIPAA Privacy Officer.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
Our customers! You would think that after 18 years at dbtech, I’d be doing the same thing day after day. That’s actually not the case. During my time here, my role has evolved and, in some way, I have been able to work with dozens of Ras customers. While most of our customers are in the healthcare space, none of them are exactly alike in terms of how Ras meets their needs. Each customer is different, each project is unique, and I enjoy working with all of them!
What would you say are some of your best skills?
If I may say so, I am pretty proud of my customer service skills. Prior to joining the dbtech team, I worked in Patient Financial Services and Patient Access, so I have first-hand knowledge and understanding of our healthcare customers’ needs. I can easily see things from their perspective, offer credible professional guidance, and work closely with the dbtech teams to ensure successful implementation and continued support of the Ras software.
What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
Generally speaking, I am a social butterfly, so I am up for almost anything that gets me out of the house. It can be a weekend farmer’s market, a family visit, a live music event, or anything in between. I also love to travel with family to some of the best beaches in and outside of the United States.
