208 bed Mississippi based hospital will create paperless Human Resources (HR) processes and implement e-Signature at Registration

Greenwood Leflore Hospital offers a full complement of medical and surgical care capabilities across its five-county network of clinics. Their vision was a paperless environment in Registration and Human Resources and by selecting Dbtech’s eFolders platform, GLH will now be equipped with an enterprise solution to solve the goals of their organization. eFolders will act as a single repository for paper documents and electronic forms, providing GLH employees the ability to complete and retrieve personnel forms on desktops, mobile devices and electronic signature pads at their convenience.

GLH will also implement dbtech’s Interactive eForms package, eliminating the need to print and scan forms at registration and allowing electronic signature at the point of service. As a result GLH expects an overall better patient experience as well as decreased waiting period in registration. “Dbtech’s solution not only fit our needs but was priced at a point that provided an immediate return on investment. We look forward to removing paper from the registration process and having one place for all HR and patient forms.” Said Marvin Pate, MIS Director at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. .

“Our work with Greenwood involves data and structural analysis of their current paper forms. This allows us to collect the appropriate data from Soarian in standard HL7 messages. The forms are designed to improve departmental workflows. In a one-hour class we train staff on the access and use of these new digital forms.” said Greg Park Director of Healthcare Applications at Dbtech.

“For the past five years, Dbtech’s eForms solution has been a critical tool in collecting revenue cycle and clinical forms at Greenwood. Now we are expanding the platform to include signature capture which permit us to complete forms electronically. The plan is to eliminate printing and scanning in registration, resulting in a better patient experience and decreased time through registration. Once finished with registration we will apply all of Dbtech’s eForms tools to the HR onboarding processes, which at this point is completely manual. This promises to be an easy win with tremendous upside. “Said source at Greenwood Leflore Hospital
